Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) will allocate RM90 million for a interval of two years within the building of direct present (DC) charging stations for electrical autos (EV) in Malaysia.
Mission administration program director for electrical autos, Mohd Junaizee Mohd Noor confirmed the matter by an announcement. He defined that TNB has already taken step one by constructing three EV charging stations. The stations are within the R&R space of Ayer Keroh (Melaka), Tapah (Perak) and Paka (Terengganu).
“We purpose to construct seven extra EV charging stations in Malaysia by the tip of this 12 months. The stations will likely be on the North-South Freeway (PLUS).
“TNB could have a complete of 10 DC EV charging stations alongside the freeway by the tip of the 12 months.”
Junaizee said that the initiative is to make it simpler for the general public to cost their EV autos. Commuters will now not must be afraid of operating out of battery.
